Automatic notification when a member posts a new item or reply

is there a way to request automatic notification when a member posts  new item or a reply?

I have just found it in the profile section.

For anyone else who has the same question, you can set up email notifications by clicking on Profile > Edit Profile > Notifications

Hi Kathy

As the Notifications feature only allows email notifications for bookmarked and participated in threads, I've created a subscription option to cover all new forum posts.  Details are in this thread:
