TUESDAY CLUB - CONDITIONS OF COMPETITIONS

Players must pay subs on the day of play
All tee times are reserved for competitions
New members may use cards towards gaining handicap
Players may submit supplementary scores on days when an individual competition is planned Subs must be paid and the supplementary book signed prior to play
Signed cards must be place in the book at the end of play
Scores will not be counted for competition
DECIDING TIES
When one or more players have the same score the following rules will determine the winner The best score on the last 9 holes (10 -18)
The best score on the back 6 holes (13 -18)
The best score on the back 3 holes (16 - 18)
The best score on the 18th hole.
The best score on stroke index 1
The best score on stroke index 2 and so on until all stroke indexes have been used (Excluding the Stableford League - see competition format)
9 HOLE COMPETITIONS
Handicap allowances will be taken according to stroke index of holes played
In the event of players failing to turn up for Pairs or Team competitions In Pairs Competitions
The lowest handicap player will act as a pivot and her score will be recorded for both pair's results
In Team Competitions (excluding Texas Scramble)
If in the event of only 3 players turning up for a team of 4, the player with the lowest handicap will score twice
In Texas Scramble
If in the event of only 3 players turning up, 3 tee shots per player may be taken. The remaining tee shots can be used by anyone
Handicap allowance remains the same
Players may be ask to make up pairs or teams if required
PAIRS COMPETITIONS
BETTERBALL

Handicap allowance: FULL
Each player completes the hole with her own ball. The best score of each pair is recorded. The winners are the pair with the best score.
DOUBLE GREENSOME
Stableford
Handicap allowance: ½ combined
Both players tee off, swap balls and both take shots, choose the best ball and then alternate shot are taken to the conclusion of the hole
The winners are the pair with the best score.
FOURSOMES
Stableford
Handicap allowance: ½ combined
One player is nominated to tee off on even numbered holes and the other odd numbered holes Alternate shots are then played to the conclusion of the hole
The winners are the pair with the best score.
SECRET PARTNERS

Handicap allowance: FULL
Each player to record individual scores
Pairs will be drawn after all cards have been returned

AUSSIE RULES

Pairs Stableford Competition
Each player completes the hole with her own ball and the scores are recorded
You then multiply your Stableford points with your partners on each hole i.e. On hole 1, player A scores 2 points, and her partner scores 3 points Total scored for that hole will be 2 x 3 = 6
On hole 2, player A scores 3 points and her partner scores 0 points Total score for that hole will be 3 x 0 = 0
At the end of the 18 holes, all points are added together.
The winners are the pair with the most points

Each team members plays the Colour ball in rotation
The coloured ball scores double points plus the best 2 of the other scores' If the coloured ball does not score then just the best 2 scores will count The winners are the team with the best score,

4 tee shots per player must be taken
2 remaining tee shots can be used by anyone.
All tee off, choose the best ball and mark this position.
The player whose ball is chosen, play her ball first, the others places their ball within 6ins of the marker in the winter months (preferred lies) or drops in the summer months within 1 club length and play their ball from that position.
If the ball chosen is in the rough that player marks the ball within 6ins and plays it as it lies and everyone else drops their ball within 1 club length.
The best ball is then chosen again, repeating this to the conclusion of each hole.

STABLEFORD LEAGUE
The Tuesday Stableford League is an 18 holes full handicap competition, played over nine rounds in four divisions: Division 1 h/cap 0-20, Div.2 h/cap 21-29, Div.3 h/cap 30-35 and Div.4 h/cap 36 and 36*.
Points will be awarded after each round for 1st place (5), 2nd (4), 3rd (3) 4th (2) in each division.
Remaining players who complete a minimum of nine holes accrue 1 point.
Any player whose handicap alters between rounds will move into the relevant division taking their points with them.
R & A rules apply and properly completed scorecards must be submitted at the end of each round.
Trophies will be awarded at the end of the year to those with the most League points in each Division.
If there is a tie of points in any of the divisions after the final round, the winner of that division will be the player who has accrued the most Stableford points over the whole competition
